Watton Youth awarded a grant from the Barclays Community Sport Fund

We are delighted to have been awarded a grant from the Barclays Community Sport Fund, being delivered in partnership with Sported. The Barclays Community Sport Fund offers grants, training and support resources to help reduce inequalities in sport – with a focus on football, tennis and cricket. The fund supports community groups and grassroots sports organisations (like ours) who make sport more accessible to young people from underrepresented groups. Sported is the UK’s leading grassroots sports charity.  They deliver funding and support to a network of more than 5,000 clubs and community groups – strengthening communities and transforming the lives

Watton Youth awarded the Equal Game kitemark

Watton Youth have been recognised for their commitment to an “Equal Game” and Hertfordshire FA have awarded the club with an exclusive Equal Game kitemark. The Equal Game Kitemark is an award given to football clubs by Football Associations (FAs) to recognize their commitment to creating an inclusive and accessible environment for women’s and girls’ football. It’s part of the FA’s “Equal Game” program, which provides resources and workshops to help clubs grow female participation at all levels of the sport.
